I was really let down by the colourisation of my photos at Retouche. The work feels half-hearted, and they don’t seem to put in the effort needed to finish things off right. For instance, when they colour a black and white image, they leave some parts grey, black, or white instead of adding colour where it’s needed. I reckon they do this just to save time and make things easier on themselves.

They also go way overboard with the 'smudge tool,' which ends up making skin and other details look super fake and unnatural. It’s like they just can’t help themselves.

On top of that, they often miss deadlines. If you opt for a colouring job that takes about a week, it feels like they rush it at the last minute, and you end up getting the proofs late. It’s just plain lazy and unprofessional.

There are definitely better options out there for photo colourisation and restoration. In my opinion, Retouche isn’t one of the good ones. Folks should really do their homework and find a reliable service.

In short, you get what you pay for with Retouche.
